What is SKDP?
SKDP is Surat Keterangan Domisili Perusahaan or Company’s Domicile Certificate. This certificate contains information about the domicile of a company. To get an SKDP, a limited liability company (better known as PT) must have a deed which has been approved by the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights. And the chosen domicile must be in the zoning that has been determined by the government.
Who issued the SKDP?
SKDP is issued by Kelurahan (a kind of government authority) whose working area covers the domicile of the company. The certificate will be signed by Lurah as the designated government authority. Generally, the certificate was also signed by the Camat. However, this depends on the rules of each Province.
As for companies domiciled in rural areas, SKDP is issued by the Kepala Desa and also signed by the Camat. There are several documents that you need to prepare as a requirement to apply an SKDP. How to Get a Company’s Domicile Certificate

Requesting an Introduction Letter of SKDP from RT/RW
First, bring all the requirements to the RT where your company is domiciled. RT will give you an introduction letter which must be signed by RW as well.

After the letter is signed by RT and RW, you must bring it to the Kelurahan or Kepala Desa. Then you will be required to fill in the company’s domicile application form that addressed to the Head of PTSP (Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu) of Kelurahan.

Issuance of SKDP
Next, you are just waiting for the process of issuing SKDP. The duration for the issuance of the SKDP is uncertain but generally takes about three to eight days since the requested documents are received by the Kelurahan. So, it’s best to ask how long it takes to apply SKDP in your Kelurahan.
